Your Project, Our Platform

Beneficial third-party use of the Trinity House estate ashore and afloat.

Trinity House offers unique opportunities for third parties to host technology or utilise space across our distinctive estate – from iconic lighthouses and buoy stations to wider land-based properties. These locations present a rare chance to support innovation, research, and public benefit in extraordinary maritime settings.

Whether you're in telecommunications, research and development, the public sector, or another suitable field, we welcome proposals to host your equipment on our infrastructure. Opportunities may include installing technology on lighthouses or other Aids to Navigation (AtoN) structures, provided that their presence does not impact the core operational functions of Trinity House and all necessary consents are in place.

In addition, we also consider third-party use of other parts of our land-based estate. This may include partnerships with commercial entities, public-sector bodies, or not-for-profit organisations to deliver projects or activities that generate public, community, or commercial benefit.

Proposals should support the sustainable use of our estate by contributing to their upkeep and condition, in line with standards set out in our Civil Estate Plan.

Our stunning coastal and historic locations are also well-suited for filming and media projects. Trinity House welcomes proposals that align with our values, raise our profile, and offer either reputational or financial benefit. These will be assessed individually, in coordination with our Public Relations team.

A detailed cost structure and guidance on the application process are available in the downloadable document below.

If you're interested in exploring a partnership or have a proposal in mind, we’d love to hear from you.
