Trinity House is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr Curtis Juman as the successor to Dr Margaret Amos as a new Non-Executive Director of the Lighthouse Board. A Secretary of State for Transport nominated appointment, Trinity House will benefit greatly from Curtis’ knowledge and experience.
Effective from 13 February 2024, Curtis today (22 March) chairs his first Audit & Risk Assurance Committee. He will also chair the Board of Trinitas Services Ltd; the wholly owned subsidiary that manages Trinity House’s lighthouse holiday cottage portfolio.
Curtis is a chartered accountant and also a Non-Executive Board member for the New Homes Quality Board and Trustee and Chair of the Group Audit Committee for The Clink Charity. He has also served in a Non-Executive capacity over the last 20 years, including most recently as a Group Board Member for the PA Housing Group, a social landlord with 25,000 homes. Previously, Curtis was the Finance Director for Ofcom (retiring in March 2023), Deputy Receiver General for Westminster Abbey and Chief Resources Officer for the Equality and Human Rights Commission. Prior to that, he worked in senior finance roles across several Government Departments, the National Audit Office and in the private sector at Deloitte.
